ADHD

Whilst commonly referred to as a disorder (Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder) it is more typical to consider it as a Neurodivergence.

What this means is that it is a particular way that our brains work, in fact up to 10% of the population may have this way of thinking. The disease arises from the difficulty that this can cause in functioning and the adaptive behaviours people might use.

In discussing this during my care, I might signpost you to these resources for either assessment or support.
